Each year the Children's Research Fund welcomes recognized leaders in the business and philanthropic community to oversee the annual fundraising campaign and Children's Ball.
This year, the Children’s Research Fund is thrilled to welcome Merritt DeWitt, Adam DeWitt, Lisa Prostic, and Seth Prostic as the 2026 Campaign and Children's Ball Co-Chairs.
Lisa and Seth Prostic have been committed fundraisers for Lurie Children’s for over 25 years. Their journey began when they joined the Children’s Research Fund Junior Board after they met earning their MBAs at the University of Chicago. Seth, a Managing Director and former Co-Head of the U.S. Mergers and Acquisitions Group at BMO Capital Markets, is a former chairman of the Children’s Research Fund and a longstanding member of Lurie Children’s Foundation Board. Lisa collaborates with her family on various real estate investments. Both Lisa and Seth are passionate about creating healthier futures for all children and have had the privilege of participating in numerous Lurie Children’s fundraising events with their two children for many years.
Merritt and Adam DeWitt have proudly supported the Children's Research Fund for many years. Adam serves as the CEO of HONK, an innovative roadside assistance company and sits on several company boards. Merritt leverages her background in marketing and advertising, volunteering with many local nonprofits. Both Merritt and Adam are active supporters and participants in the Chicago philanthropic community.
